Applied mud-related research has been carried out by Deltares / Delft Hydraulics in the framework of Voortschrijdend Onderzoeks Programma Slib (VOP-slib) since 2006. The objective of VOP is to carry out applied research to support managerial issues. It forms a linkbetween more fundamental research (often carried out at Universities) and engineering applications. It focuses on the development and application of models or knowledge rules which can be readily applied to assess the impact of changes to the natural system or theautonomous development hereof. This report presents the results of the activities in the framework of the project ‘VOP-slib’ in 2009.
